Баг с чипсетами Intel P55, блокирующий синхронизацию iPhone на Windows 7, о котором мы писали ранее, был исправлен обновлением BIOS. Для этого Gigabyte выпустила бета версию BIOS для материнских плат GA-P55-UD4P.
Ранее, на прошлой неделе, Intel, Microsoft и Apple в один голос заявили, что они решают проблему, которой наградили пользователей 64-битной версии Windows 7 с чипсетами Intel P55.
Intel передала CNet, что проблема была с конфигурацией BIOS (базовой системе ввода/вывода). Это прошивка, которая загружается сразу при включении компьютера.
На форуме техподдержки Apple пользователи сообщали о проблемах с материнскими платами ASUS и MSI в дополнении к Gigabyte. Ни один производитель еще не выпустил официального обновления.
Некоторые пользователи решали проблему скачиванием последней версии BIOS и драйверов для чипсета Intel, а другие полагались на запуск iTunes в режиме совместимости с Windows Vista SP2.
В текущей ветке на форуме, работник компании “Roy B” просил пользователей передавать информацию о баге. Позднее это сообщение было дополнено словами о том, что Apple “собирает сведения” о проблеме, и благодарит тех, кто отправлял отчеты о проблеме.
Пользователи были возмущены ошибкой при синхронизации iPhone, подключенного по USB к ПК с Windows 7. Синхронизация прерывалась сообщением об ошибке “0xE8000065″.
