ExoPC Slate – планшетный ПК, который идет ноздря в ноздрю с анонсированным недавно 9.7-дюймовым Apple iPad. Устройство с диагональю 8.9 дюймов работает на Windows 7 и имеет поддержку Flash, что обеспечивает ему больше возможностей для веб-браузинга. Внутри процессор Intel Atom 1.6 ГГц, 2 Гб RAM, 32Гб SSD и поддержка SD-карт.

Сенсорный дисплей диагональю 1024 x 600 дополнен интегрированным графическим чипсетом Intel GMA950. Помимо встроенного Wi-Fi, устройство несет на себе Bluetooth и Ethernet интерфейсы. В дополнение – 1.3-мегапиксельная камера для фото- и видеосъемки, а также три USB порта, VGA-выход и разъем SIM-карты для 3G Интернета. Производителем заявлена продолжительность работы от аккумулятора четыре часа, наличие виртуальной клавиатуры и поддержка электронных книг.

Стоимость устройства, выход которого намечен в марте, сопоставима со стоимостью iPad – 599$.
