Google представила новую версию Google Earth 2.0 для iPhone. Программа показывает маршруты, которые Вы проложили на домашнем ПК, поддерживает новые языки, и имеет улучшенный выбор иконок и быстродействие.

Представленное в прошлом году, приложение Google Earth было “одним из самых популярных на iPhone и после 6 месяцев стало вторым скачиваемым приложением в App Store”, – отмечается в Google Lat Long Blog.

“Браузинг по миру с iPhone – невероятный опыт. Вместе с возможностью просмотра фотографий, статей Википедии и загрузками разной информации – это лучший способ открывать уголки мира. С новой версией Google Earth для iPhone, это теперь еще проще”, – отмечает Питер Берч, управляющий отделом продаж Google Earth.

Когда Вы прикасаетесь к иконке на карте, место нажатия подсвечивается. Если палец захватывает более одного объекта, то открывается список всех объектов, из которых можно выбрать интересующий. Приложение обращается к статьям Википедии и к другим источникам.
