iPhone OS 4.0 будет многозадачная

По сообщению Boy Genius Report со ссылкой на “один надежный источник в Apple”, iPhone OS 4.0 будет многозадачной (возможность запускать фоновые приложения), а также с системными мультитач-жестами и изменениями в пользовательском интерфейсе.

Согласно BGR, обновление iPhone OS, анонс которого может случиться на специальном событии в среду 27 января будет включать:

  • Системные мультитач-жесты (имеет смысл для операционной системы iTablet, которая будет почти такой же, как в iPhone).
  • “Несколько новых способов” запуска приложений в фоне (многозадачность).
  • Многочисленные изменения в графике и пользовательском интерфейсе (UI) для удобства навигации по системе. Хочется надеяться на улучшенные оповещения и домашний экран.
  • OS 4.0 будет доступна только для iPhone 3G и 3GS, но “придаст толчок развитию всего рынка смартфонов, потому что сделает iPhone еще больше похожим на компьютеры”.
  • Последняя часть не совсем ясна, но, возможно, появятся новые способы синхронизации контактов и календарей.

Некоторые факты сказаны расплывчато, но изменения пользовательского интерфейса для “упрощения и удобства навигации” звучит вполне правдоподобно. Самая большая жалоба на Google Android – сильно запутанный интерфейс.

Перефразируя слова Армстронга можно сказать, что iPhone OS 4.0 будет маленьким шагом для iPhone, но гигантским прыжком для всех смартфонов.
