iTablet – британский ответ Apple

Относительно новая X2 Computing решила выехать на шумихе вокруг iPad и объявила о выходе планшетного компьютера. Названный недвусмысленно “iTablet”, планшетник оснащен 10- или 12-дюймовым сенсорным экраном (мультитач опционально) и работает на Windows 7 (фото Windows XP для примера) или Linux. В результате таблетка предлагает многое из того, чего лишен iPad, в том числе многозадачность и Flash.

Начинка iTablet не уступает среднему нетбуку: 1.6ГГц Atom, жесткий диск до 250Гб, 1.3-мегапиксельная веб-камера, встроенные динамики, три USB-порта, HDMI-выход (опционально) и 3G модем. Вследствие характеристик толщина X2 1.4 дюйма – почти в три раза больше конкурента от Apple.

Стоимость X2 Computing не объявлена. Отгрузка iTablet начнется не раньше апреля.
