Промо-тур iPad: Стив Джобс и необычная шляпа

Продвижение iPad не ограничилось одной официальной презентацией. Промо-тур Стива Джобса начался с Нью-Йорка, где управляющий нанес визит Wall Street Journal с предложением по развитию бизнеса для крупного издательства.

В программу Стива Джобса входил и ужин с пятьюдесятью топ-менеджерами New York Times.

Когда Apple зарезервировала ресторан для встречи с руководством газеты, даже управляющий ресторана не знал кто будет VIP гостем. На ужин Стив Джобс пришел в необычном головном уборе. По словам очевидцев, это была “очень смешная шляпа в виде большого цилиндра”.

На встрече управляющий продемонстрировал возможности iPad и его функции. Стив также рассказал пользе, которую может принести девайс для бизнеса издательства.

Ужин прошел в теплой, семейной атмосфере. В завершение встречи Джобс признался, что читает Times каждый день и хочет иметь воскресный выпуск газеты у себя на iPad.
