Youtube добавляет поддержку видео 1080p

Youtube анонсировала возможность своего сервиса. Теперь на для загрузки доступно видео высокого разрешения 1080p без ограничений. Веб-интерфейс обеспечит выбор между текущей резолюцией 720p и полной 1080p. В отличие от других порталов, вроде SmugMug, поддерживающих высокое разрешение, Youtube обеспечивает высокую скорость загрузки видео.

“С увеличением разрешения домашних видеокамер, мы хотим убедиться, что Youtube – лучшее место в сети для показа Вашего контента”, – заявил разработчик Youtube Билли Бигс в блоге компании.

Пользователи смогут отправить видео 1080p с главной страницы Youtube. Расширение сервиса ожидается в ближайшие несколько недель. Информация, которая была загружена ранее в разрешении 1080p будет автоматически перекодирована, без необходимости повторной отправки.
