Apple извинилась за задержку поставок iMac 27″

Apple дала знать, что работает над выполнением заказов на новые 27-дюймовые iMac, а производители железа официально не признают проблему вспышек экрана у этих компьютеров.

До сих пор Apple не отреагировала на заявления о проблемах с железом, вызвавшие задержку поставок iMac, а на многочисленных ветках форума техподдержки Apple обсуждаются проблемы с экранами новых iMac 27″. Многие пользователи жалуются на проблему мерцания экрана компьютера.

Apple принесла официальные извинения в воскресном заявлении Джиму Дэйримлу из CNet:

«Новые iMac имеют серьезную проблему, и мы работаем над выполнением заказов на эти компьютеры. Мы приносим извинения нашим покупателям за задержку поставок».

Поступившие в продажу в октябре, новые iMac были самыми продаваемыми компьютерами месяца. 21.5-дюймовые iMac на первом, а 27-дюймовые iMac на третьем месте в общих продажах компании. По расчетам, общее количество проданных iMac за квартал могло бы составить, ни много ни мало, 2.9 миллионов устройств.

Но в ноябре возникли многочисленные неполадки. Компьютеры поставлялись с треснувшими дисплеями или просто отказывались работать, а проблема с мигающими экранами Маков широко обсуждается на форуме техподдержки.

На этих выходных авторизованные реселлеры заявили, что поставки 27-дюймовых iMac задерживаются на две недели.
