На недавней конференции в Wembley Stadium в Англии Эндрю Вуден из PCR взял интервью у Симона Элдуса, руководителя отдела Microsoft по работе с партнерами.

По словам Вудена, Элдус назвал Windows 7 “по существу следующей версией Windows Vista” и добавил, что вдохновителем графического интерфейса стала Mac OS X.

“Это фантастическая, очень красочная и легкая в использовании операционная система”, сказал Алдус. “Разрабатывая Windows, мы пытались создать похожую по дизайну систему и значительно улучшили графический интерфейс. Windows 7 построена на ядре Vista, которое стабильнее, чем ядро текущей платформы Мак”.
