Иногда случается, что некоторые альбомы или отдельные треки встречаются в медиатеке несколько раз. Например, дважды импортирован CD диск. Так как такие дубликаты неоправданно раздувают медиатеку, то время от времени стоит искать и удалять их.
Выберите “Файл > Показать дубликаты”. Теперь iTunes в виде списка отобразит только те треки, которые найдены несколько раз. В виде списка их легко удалить. Но осторожно, не удаляйте просто все названия из этого списка. iTunes распознает как дубликаты треки, которые хотя и встречаются несколько раз, но принадлежат к разным альбомам, к примеру, студийную и концертную версию песни. Лучшим способом выяснить это является сортировка по дате выпуска во вкладке “Название”. Только те заголовки, которые появятся списке дважды и относятся к одному и тому же альбому, являются дубликатами. Если же существуют дубликаты целых альбомом, тогда их легче найти и удалить, отсортировав список по году альбома.
