Выше потолка не прыгнешь. Эту простую истину понимает и Amazon. Kindle не может предложить пользователям того, чем может похвастаться iPad, и компания прикладывает все силы, чтобы остаться в игре. Не возникает вопроса, с какой целью Amazon приобрела Touchco, производителя дешевых мультач-дисплеев.
Одна интересная особенность сенсорных экранов Touchco – они “фиксируют бесконечное число одновременных прикосновений”. Плюс к этому они абсолютно прозрачные (резистивные тачскрин-слои первого поколения мутные, с матовым эффектом) и предназначены для работы с полноцветными LCD-дисплеями”. Так работают экраны Touchco:
С появлением новой технологии, Джобсу нужно смотреть в оба. Несмотря на его тайную промо-поездку в Нью-Йорк на встречу с Wall Street Journal и New York Times конкуренция продолжает нарастать.
