В Snow Leopard устарели сигнатуры угроз?

Судя по отчетам, Apple стоит обновить сигнатуры встроенного блокировщика вредоносных программ в Snow Leopard. Защита от такого ПО появилась в Mac OS X Snow Leopard по причине роста числа iService и RSPlug троянов. Они получили распространение задолго до выхода новой ОС. В то время, пока большинство модификаций этих троянов можно распознать и заблокировать, Apple не предпринимает никаких мер против DNS-чейнджеров, направляющих Мак-пользователей на фишинговые сайты.

Защита ограничивается проверкой скачанных из Интернета файлов в программах вроде Safari, Mail, Firefox и Entourage. Пользователи Windows Vista и 7 защищены лучше, благодаря большому выбору средств защиты и автоматическому обновлению сигнатур. Тем не менее, PC остается главной мишенью для хакеров, ввиду широкой распространенности этой платформы.

Проблемы преследуют Apple и с другими продуктами. Magic Mouse, к примеру, вызывает быстрое расходование батареек у клавиатуры блокируя Bluetooth передатчик. Также компания не обновила и Boot Camp для поддержки Windows 7, несмотря на все свои заверения и месяцы работы над проектом.
