Spotlight – фантастическое средство поиска в Mac OS X, которое действует в масштабах всей системы и по всем жёстким дискам. Его можно использовать для поиска файлов, запуска приложений, арифметических вычислений, находить перевод и определения слов и многое другое. Но самое главное, что всё это можно делать, не отрываясь от клавиатуры.

Трудно себе представить, но Spotlight – лучший друг любого маковода. Он работает быстро, удобно и добавляет много функциональности, без которой многие не могут представить свою жизнь. Если Вы входите в число таких людей, то высоко оцените список горячих клавиш, собранных мной. А если Вы еще не осознали всех преимуществ Spotlight, то попробуйте использовать хотя бы некоторые из клавиатурных сокращений, и я уверен, что Вы присоединитесь к нам.

Command + Space
Открыть меню Spotlight

Command + Enter или Command + Клик
Открыть выделенные объекты в Finder

Command + I
Информация о выделенных объектах

Command + Вверх/Вниз стрелки
Переход к предыдущей/следующей категории в результатах поиска

Control + Вверх/Вниз стрелки
Переход к первому/последнему объекту в меню Spotlight

Command + Delete
Очистить текст в строке поиска Spotlight

Command + Влево/Вправо стрелки
Передвинуть курсор в начало/конец в поле поиска

Command + Option + Space
Открыть новое окно Spotlight Finder
